Salon Policy

Here at ASHD, it is our Mission to provide a warm and bespoke experience for each and every guest.
We therefore kindly request  a deposit of 50% when booking an appointment with us.

We appreciate life happens, so we try to be as flexible as possible. That is why clients who wish to change or cancel appointments are asked to provide 48 hours’ notice and can make changes online within this timeframe. Appointments cancelled within this time, can be rolled over to the next appointment or refunded. Please understand that if this is not possible, the deposit is non-refundable. For clients who fail to turn up for their appointment the full cost of the service will be charged.

We kindly ask all clients to be prompt for every appointment, as it may not be possible to accommodate late arrivals. For clients who are 15 minutes late or more, we will try to serve you as best we can. This may mean that if you are in for a cut and blowdry, we might only have time for a wet cut however, you will still be charged the full cost of the original appointment.

When making an appointment for a colour and cutting service, please allow a minimum timeframe of 3.5 hours. Rushing your stylist will not provide the best service and therefore may not result in the best hair.

All colour appointments require a skin test 48 hours prior to the service being carried out. If you have not had a colour with us within a 6-month period, you will be required to have another skin test.

Service Guarantee, Refunds Policy & Going Blonde:

We make every attempt to ensure that you are satisfied with your experience at ASHD hair design.

In the event that you are unsatisfied, please call or write to us within 48 hours of your appointment and we will endeavor to resolve the issue. At ASHD all services are non-refundable, our stylists can never get back the time, energy and product that they use to perform a client’s service however, if you contact us within 48 hours of your original appointment, we are more than happy to provide a corrective or adjustment service for you within 10 days of your original visit. In the event of a disagreement, a redo must be validated by management. We truly care that our clients absolutely love their hair, it is our mission! But we are a business and this policy protects our staff.

If you are thinking of lightening your hair more than 3 shades than your natural colour, please bear in mind that using box dyes or going from dark tones to lighter tones may require 2- 3 appointments to achieve your desired result. For clients looking to go from dark to blonde, we have a transparency policy whereby we will provide you with the difficulties, possibilities and potential outcomes that you may incur. Usually, it is a 2-3 step process across a period of time. Your hair will go through a warm stage in order to achieve a cool shade of blonde. This is all down to the science of hair and we can explain this in more detail in the salon. We respect your hair; its integrity and we understand the limits in place when working with all different colours and textures. As professionals, you can trust we are honest, realistic and we know how best to achieve your desired results!

Gift Vouchers:

  • Gift certificates are valid for up to one year from the date of purchase and must be presented at the time of service.
  • Copies of gift certificates are not acceptable.
  • All gift certificates are non-refundable.
  • Gift certificates are not redeemable in cash.
  • Gift certificates are valid for Hair only, not for retail products.

There will be a small price increase on some of our services from April 2025. Thank you for your continued support.
